Open House Wednesday, September 11th 2019

Mark your calendar! Open House is on Wednesday, Sept. 11th at 5:30pm at High Tech High. Meet your student's teachers, tour the school, check out the classrooms and see project work. Taco sales start at 4pm. All money raised goes toward the school. Cash preferred. $2.50 per taco, $6 per meal. $1 desserts and drinks.

Here's a cheat sheet.  SEDS - Social Emotional Development Specialists SLC - Student Led Conferences (occur in Oct and March) POL - Presentation of Learning where a student presents their work DP's - Digital Portfolio that lives on your student's personalized web page PBL - Project Based Learning (that's what we do) X-BLOCK - Elective classes like Model United Nations, Intro to Yoga, Music & Performance Internship - 5-week work experience for 11th grade students, occurs in May Endersession - 4 week work experience for 12th grade students, occurs in May Intersession - 2 week experience for 9th and 10th graders in a non traditional discipline like dance, community service and camping. Experiences change each year.
