Thank you to the following students for giving inspirational speeches Paloma Martinez-UCLA ZamZam Fadhil-CSU Long Beach Tiffany "Lex" Patino-SDSU Serena Fodor-UC Irvine Amandy Del Nery-UC Berkeley Interim CEO and HTH Senior parent Kaleb Rashad leads the crowd in a message for the graduates!  The seniors walk the procession into the ceremony! and just minutes before they staged inside the fishbowl where it all began four years ago.  Thank you to the HTH Parents Association and 11th grade parents Albena Popov and Wendy Sanchez for providing water, aguas frescas and donut holes at the graduation ceremony.  Senior and Alumni Lunch - Thank you to the HTH alums Class of 2022 who came back to enjoy lunch with us! Plus thank you to Senior parents Elsa Patino and Sandra Olave for coordinating and hosting and the PA for funding. Congratulations Seniors Class of 2023! Congratulations to HTH teachers Tara, Taya, Jordan and Molly on earning their Masters in Ed Leadership from High Tech High Graduate School of Education.  12TH GRADE ENDERSESSION  Seniors travelled to Washington DC during Endersession and met with Congresswoman Sara Jacobs to talk about equality for all people.  (Below) Seniors did a second internship at places like Chocolate Haus and High Tech Middle  Wishing the HTH Senior Ambassadors all the best as they graduate and head off to college! Thank you Zamzam, Diego and Paloma for your service and fabulous tours!   Junior Lucia Lopez published the Mechista magazine. It will be available digitally soon, stay tuned to the ASB Instagram for the link.  Mecha members celebrated the end of the school year with a sash ceremony!   9TH, 10TH, 11TH GRADE INTERSESSION Wow! Students had so many amazing experiences during Intersession this year. Intersession is a two week experience   Watch the video as the students reach the 100 mile marker on the Pacific Crest Trail! Congratulations!   (Above) Design Lab Intersession visited several theatres and even went back stage at the Old Globe.  (Below) Chessersession went camping to play chess under the trees. COLLEGE NEWS     HTH Families and Students,  I wish you all the best this summer and look forward to starting the college journey with our juniors/rising seniors in August. Seniors,  I am so proud of each and every one of you. It has truly been a privilege to walk alongside you during this journey. Woohoo!  Seniors: A quick reminder to monitor your web portals and register for your college's 1st orientation date available -- that's how you will register for classes this fall.  See your monthly "to-do" list, to be ready for Fall '23: Link to your College Transition checklist for May-August. It's important to check your college's web portal every week, to ensure you are on track to start in the Fall. Juniors, registration is OPEN now for the SAT test dates August - December. These fill quickly so register early.  Even if you are not sure you will apply to a school that requires test scores, it doesn’t hurt to take the test and have it out of the way. We celebrated with the HSSA Board of Directors, Distinguished Guests, Athletic Directors , Administrators and other parents from around the county to recognize the most accomplished Scholar-Athletes from the class of 2023.
