Welcome back to HTH. We hope everyone had a great summer! We are looking forward to a fantastic year and welcoming our new incoming freshman. We hope to see everyone on the first day of school. Be sure to join the Parent Association for coffee and pastries starting at 8:30am.

HTH Teachers and staff preparing for the students to return! Besides fine tuning projects and curriculum, the teachers/staff participate in Socratic Seminars, bond through kayaking and yoga, talk Math and the vision for education plus meet staff/teachers from other HTH schools.

NOTES FROM MARCUS, Dean of Students

  • Student Parking - Reminder for students to get Forms, parking permits, and ID tags from the school’s Dean of Students on the first day of school. Students will be issued parking permits for High Tech High Village parking spaces based on space availability and must display the parking permit prominently in the vehicle. 
  • Dress Code - The purpose of the HTH dress code is to foster a professional, safe and respectful environment at school. The dress code is in effect from the time students arrive to school until they leave. Check out the handbook for details. 
  • No riding E-scooters on campus. It's the law! 
  • No skateboards on campus. Check the handbook for details.

HOST AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT

  1. Does your family want to learn Mandarin Chinese? Host a Chinese international student attending High Tech High for three weeks in February 2020 or host over the summer in the area. Practice speaking Chinese and bring the flavor of studying abroad in your home. Forge a global friendship for years ahead.   2. Host an International Exchange student at HTH. Discover a deeper appreciation for different cultures and our shared humanity by welcoming an AFS foreign exchange student into your home and heart for a semester or a school year. Your family will create a lifelong bond that spans cultures and countries.

     

    Francesco is a boy from Italy with a passion for the classics and the science behind computers. He loves studying about the ancient world, stars and planets and the origins of the universe. He enjoys tinkering with electronics and building his own computers.  

     

    Husna is a girl from Tanzania who is passionate about the environment, gender equality and other socials issues. She hopes to become a doctor so she can be a leader in her community and help people across Tanzania. She also enjoys singing and dancing and playing games with her young cousins.

     

    Vittoria is a girl from Italy who loves learning about other cultures and languages. Her favorite subjects in school are math, science and French and she hopes to study law one day. She likes to swim to stay fit and feed her creativity through acting.

Last year, HTH parents and teachers raised $972.27 just by using the Benefit Mobile app when they shopped online! It's FREE money and so easy!  Imagine how much we could raise if we all started using the app.

ATHLETIC CLEARANCE
- Opens June 1st. - In order to participate in HTH Athletics, you must be cleared thru athleticclearance.com.  Please go online and update/create your profile for the 2019-20 season. Once you have completed your online clearance you will receive an email.  Print and sign that confirmation page and drop off at the HTHAthletics office located at HTHMA


NEW HTH STORM ATHLETIC CLUB - newly formed volunteer parent group to support HTH SD campus athletic department through fundraising and community building. We are looking for volunteers! Join us at our first meetings held at HTH!
