Public Comments to City Council Environment Committee - 11th grade students share their vision and arguments for rewilding the NorthEast corner of Mission Bay.

9th grade students on Chet, Tara and Jordan's team start the project "High Tech Why?" How modern technology affects our behavior, feelings and self image?

Students in the Lisa-Profe-Molly team went to see Evita at the Cygnet Theatre, and learned more about how Eva Peron, the former first lady of Argentina, was almost the vice president, and how she fought for the working poor and for women to have more rights.  We also were introduced to Che Guevara, the narrator of the play.

Shany Yeshanov, 12th grade Math teacher

Where did you grow up?
Israel, Maryland, San Jose, and ultimately San Diego!
Why did you choose to work in education?
My own love of learning makes me passionate about teaching. I also entered this profession because I'm 
eager to make a difference in my community.
What are your hopes for this school year?
I hope to connect with every single one of my students.
What do you love most about HTH?
I love how students have unique passions, and how they advocate for themselves.
What do you like to do outside of school?
Outside of school, I like to do yoga, stand up paddle board, and grab coffee with my friends.
