This Week's Newsletter

"Story is the wisdom that can guide you to your true destiny--both temporal and spiritual. All of the great myths, legends, and fairy tales have that power. If you understand their secrets, they can guide you to a full realization of your self. Great stories are designed to guide us to our full potential and are as necessary to our well-being as fresh air."
-James Bonnet, author Stealing Fire From the Gods.

Here are some stories and we hope you find some fresh air.

Want to make tamales for a good cause? HTH MECHA and Familias LATINAS DE HTH participated in annual MECHA  conference last weekend along with HTH NORTHCOUNTY AND HTH MEDIA. Topics included: parent workshop in Spanish about navigating the college process, immigration, engineering, cosing coding and many other topics that are important for the 21st century College student. They also met many other MECHA legacy professionals  who are very interested in mentoring our students and offering them internship guidance and opportunities. The group needs funds to buy the ingredients to make tamales to raise money. Check out the flyer and email Judy at jzapien@hightechhigh.org if you can help.
