This year we are excited to share this special peek into the culture, people,and projects that form the stories of HTH. Heart of the West from Blue Dot Education on Vimeo. Check out the documentary from the students on Semester Upstream. It will be available on Amazon Prime soon. Teacher Brian Delgado wants to thank HTH, the students and their families for making this possible.
Also check out the new High Tech High Studios You Tube Channel. Teacher Dennis Walker says it will be a place to consolidate and showcase student work. Any HTH students are welcome to contribute and participate in the management of the channel.
10th Grade Griffin/Aviles team exhibited "The Refuse Project". Topics covered included microplastics, fuel efficiency, reducing food and clothing waste and ocean pollution.
Class of 2022 is welcomed to HTH with a team challenge. Who can build the tallest structure with one marshmallow balanced on top? Parents and students worked together to complete the task. #deeperlearning #projectbasedlearning

HAVE YOU HEARD?? Jaden Rosenthal (UCSD) and Abigail Sebert (Aurora University) were chosen as the HTHSD Scholar Athletes of the year! and Jaden was selected as the 2018 CIF San Diego Section Male Track Athlete of the Year. Congratulations you two! We are so excited for the next chapter of your life and for each of you to compete at the next level! I’d like to congratulate our Coaches, Mike Strong, Kyle Woodard and Adam Ewenstein along with the HTHTrack and Field team for this great accomplishment and for having the first CIF athlete of the year in HTH history and Frontier Conference history.
