Welcome Back!

Welcome Back! Reminder, no school Monday,
Enjoy the long weekend! #hthpride #weareallinthistogether
Our HTH students attending school from home! Woohoo!
The entire junior class is doing a biology project called "Justice for the People and the Planet." In this project, students will explore the intersections between environmentalism, environmental science, and social justice. Students explored the simple question, how do we define living things? Leading to a complex investigation to launch our week. Stay tuned for some distribution maps of the junior classes favorite places of San Diego!

The USDA issued a nationwide waiver to allow all schools to serve meals under the Seamless Summer Meal Program through the fall semester. High Tech High will be offering meals at no charge to all children between the ages of 2-18 years old, regardless of their meal eligibility status. Download the flyer.  Due to the holiday weekend, meals will be served this Tuesday, September 8th, between 11 AM – 1 PM at all High Tech High campuses. Although meals will be served to all children at no charge this fall, High Tech High continues to highly encourage families who have not completed a meal application to do so as soon as possible through EZMealApp and check out our Parent Workshop recording here. Questions, email Amanda at athomas@hightechhigh.org

"Dollars For Doers", the fall fundraising campaign at HTH is on! We would love 100% participation from our families, but you are under no obligation to donate. The goal this year is $8,000, which is approximately $40 per student. The funds go directly back into the classroom for projects and supplies. This year, a portion will be set aside to help those in our community in need. You can use this Paypal link  Any questions, please send an email to hthpacommunications@gmail.com
