Quick Links To The Important Stuff:

HTH HAPPENINGS
Ms. Lisa had two educators from Santiago, Chile visit her 9th grade students. They shared their Mini POL’a with them and the beginning of their digital portfolios.
Watch the Flame Lab from Michael Chin's 10th grade Chemistry class!
Senior field trip to artists’ studios and Watercolor Society with 12th grade art teacher Jelena Opacic.
Thank you to all of our families who donated gently used business clothing to our new Dress For Success closet. The 11th grade students will be using the clothes for their internship interviews starting next week.
As a school community, we are constantly reflecting on and refining our practice. I would like to invite you to share with us your thoughts about HTH. The anonymous survey should take about 15 minutes and is administered by YouthTruth – a nonprofit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the country.
Please take the survey before it closes on January 27th by clicking on this link
I need your help! I want to facilitate a Mini Mars Rover project this semester, in which our students will be able to apply what they are learning about electronics, circuitry, and engineering design to develop a robot that can traverse uneven terrain. The materials are expensive and my budget is gone so any contributions would help. I am asking for donations on DonorsChoose, through which SDGE is providing a match offer so your donation will be doubled (while funds last)!

Good thing we are a Village, because it takes a Village to support our student athletes.

Did you know.....

The HTHSD Storm Athletic department offers over 30 sports teams and 70% of our student population participates on one or more of these sports teams.  The cost for EACH season is $40,000. These funds are needed to pay for facility expenses, referee/officials fees, conference and club fees, uniforms, and equipment.  All teams work hard to support these costs by helping to raise funds through gym admissions, concessions sales, team fundraisers and donations.

AMAZING NEWS about our Fall Fundraising efforts!

One local business pledged $50,000 over the next 5 years!

Another business provided running uniforms and shoes to the cross country team!

Do you know a business who would like to be a Storm Sponsor?

Our Goal for Winter and Spring season Fundraising is $80,000 to cover the remaining balance for this year, which is $150 an athlete.

Each and Every donation is appreciated.

All Storm teams are required to cover their costs this year, through family contributions and fundraising. Uniforms, officials, CIF fees, equipment, venue rentals, and coach stipends amount to $5,500-$7,500 per team.  You may donate using the links below.  All funds not donated will need to be raised in other ways by your team, which your team parents will organize.
