San Diego
Why did you choose to work in education?
As the son of two educators, teaching felt like the one career I knew I was NOT going to pursue. By chance, I met a group of High Tech High Students and Teachers on trip to central Baja California and this place seemed to unreal not to want to be part of it.
What are your hopes for this school year?
To give the ownership of the learning to the students
What do you love most about HTH?
Our community of students, their families and colleagues....and the tools in my classroom
Tell us about a memory you have from high school?
I remember the biology and physics labs. I was so drawn to the hands-on aspects of the learning. I also started the recycling program at our school.
What do you like to do outside of school?
I love to spend time with my wonderful daughters and wife
