FAMILY CONNECTIONS

Thank you to all the families who participated in the WASC Focus Group this past Sunday. If you didn't get a chance to participate this time, the WASC panel visits our school every six years to accredit the school so you will get another chance.

Staff Appreciation Week is coming up May 1st-4th 2023

We would like to send appreciations to all the staff during the week. Please fill out this google form to send in your appreciation for one staff member or the whole team!

Your HTH Parent Association asked the staff and they asked for appreciation messages, Amazon gift cards and lunch.

You can still help us make that happen!  You can make your donation here

STAFF SPOTLIGHT
James Thomas, Academic Coach
Where did you grow up?
South San Diego (Southeast, Southbay, Chula Vista, National City)
Why did you choose to work in education?
I started off as a homework tutor working with kids and I seem to relate to them very well. Giving back to my community is the best way to empower the next generation.

Tell us about a memory you have from high school?
I went to Chula Vista High School and I played basketball and did Track & Field. I also was very involved with my school improving school spirit and culture by joining a lot of clubs.
What do you like to do outside of school?
Hoop, Hike and go to the movies.

And thank you to Sensations Salud, LLC.
for being a community partner for a third year!
