11th Grade Student Cloe Moreno reflects on her recent trip to Sacramento

"Being a part of the Student Advisor to the Board of Education (SABE) conference and State Board of Education interview process was an amazing opportunity. When I applied for the position on the State Board of Education, I had no idea how inspiring the event would be, from lobbying at the capitol to brainstorming ways to improve our education. I had a great time learning more about how students can participate in government and what certain organizations do through group discussions and workshops. I know that when I return home I want to become more of a participant in discussions and actions that surround student voice in the education system."

12th grade HTH Student Sarah Mola featured on Channel 8 News for the Children's Trust March.
