Welcome Class Of 2023! Our incoming 9th grade HTH families spent the evening talking to current students, teachers and staff at the welcome reception.

Colby Jones (a student from HTHe) presented to 9th grade HTH students about his geometric jewelry. The students are currently creating geometric jewelry for their project, so it was a great connection between schools!!!

At Cal Western, students gave presentations where they provided the California Innocence Project with recommendations about the case files of actual prisoners.  On Thursday's exhibition, students reflected on their experience collaborating with the Innocence Project and showcased work they have done since.  For humanities that included fictional pieces related to problems in criminal justice and in Biology it included neuroscience research about human behavior.

You can check out their bios here and see if one would be a good fit for your family. Hosting a student is a great opportunity to introduce your family to another culture and create a lifelong bond.  Students are fluent in English and come for one semester or a school year.  For more information, please email Margaret Egler at megler@hightechhigh.org
