HTH Small Group Pilot Program

By Stephanie Antin

One of the most difficult aspects of the pandemic with regards to education has been the loss of the face to face interaction students have with their teachers and peers. Students thrive and develop their skills based on social relationships and many of them are motivated by the one on one relationships with their teachers. It’s been tough for teachers as well.

PARENT WORKSHOPS
Meet our new HTH Community Partner - 9th-grade parent Dr. Sabrina Falquier Montgrain is a multilingual and multicultural primary care physician in San Diego, specializes in Culinary Medicine, and is the founder of Sensations Salud, LLC. She was born and raised in Mexico City to Swiss and American parents. • Grades 9-11 - HTH will be hosting the annual Coastline San Diego Case Studies Program "virtually" for grade 9-11 families on Wed., January 20 from 5:30-6:30pm, followed by a Virtual College Fair from 7-8pm. Families will witness a mock admissions committee conducted by 6 current college admissions representatives from Boston U, Syracuse, U of Redlands, Oberlin, Colorado College and Chapman.  They will be reviewing 3 student applications and collectively decide which fictitious student to admit, waitlist, and deny.  In preparation for the Case Study, you are encouraged to review the 3 mock student applications and the mock University profile. Following the Case Study, a Virtual College Fair with over 70 colleges in attendance will take place from 7pm-8pm. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about a variety of colleges, introduce yourself to college representatives, demonstrate interest, and ask questions.  Check out the website for more information. How do I sign up for HTH Athletics?

Please make sure all athletes create or update their athleticclearance.com profile. This is important so coaches can be in contact with their athletes as we begin our seasons.
Not only do all athletes need to be in athletic clearance with all their paperwork filled out and signed, they also need an updated sports physical for the 20-21 school year.  If you want to be a part of HTH Athletics please do these 2 important things as soon as possible.
