No School On Memorial Day, May 31st. Have a safe and healthy holiday!
9th grade physics students with Amilio are doing metal casting using blow torches to melt metal and pouring it into molds the students designed. Each student is making a medallion with an image that represents their time in quarantine. This is part of the "Boxing Quarantine" project, where students are making a box to contain things from each class to represent their past year.
8 of our HTH juniors were chosen as Elevate Scholars for the 2021-22 school year! ELEVATE Scholars is a college access program that celebrates high achieving, first-generation/low-income students.
Congratulations!
Where do the Dollars For Doers Annual Campaign funds go?
Check out just some of the projects funded by these teacher grants.
  • Seniors virtually worked with artist Mary Juhn. The grant paid for the classes.
  • Seniors built circuits and further their understanding of electricity. Funds bought the circuitry components and tools!
  • SEDS used the grant to buy fidget items to support the needs of students
  • 10th grade students knit, crochet, draw and paint while building in person relationships.
Thank you to our wonderful community for donating to the annual fundraising campaign!

There is a new episode of  "This Teenage Life" podcast about getting vaccinated. This podcast was started at HTH by a group of students and resident teacher. You can find the podcast everywhere you download your podcasts.
